(A)manda Parkinson is a multidisciplinary artist that deconstructs light through eco-poetics and eco-narratives to intentionally position humans in the context of the land. Their written works include poetry, short fiction and non-fiction essays. A photojournalist by trade their writing and photography has been published widely in Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. Currently completing their PhD, A is exploring how cinematic light can be used therapeutically in clinical mental health settings.
